These days, who couldn’t? Especially us—the young of the world, freshly out (or nearly so) of our formative years, our academic careers, and new to the big, adult world of “finding and keeping money.”
The old-timers of the world have created for us an impossible game to play. We’re told to get educations, and that education forces us into debt. We’re told to get jobs, and those jobs exploit our labor for too little pay. We’re told to enjoy our lives, and are then chastised for not spending every waking moment being “productive members of society,” or “advancing our careers,” or “saving towards tomorrow.” It leaves us dead tired, frustrated, and broke—waiting for the next paycheck to pay the next bill to keep our delicately balanced lives from falling apart.
I am okay right now but if this is for realsies I know many of you could use a few bucks. This was reblogged from a blog I trust so check this out if it applies to you! :)
